    What is BMI?
    The body mass index (BMI) is the most commonly used measure of body fat. It is a number that tells you if your weight is too much for your height. Use the BMI calculator on the right to find out your BMI based on current guidelines from the National Institutes of Health.

    BMI Formula:

    BMI = Weight[kg] / ( Height[m] x Height[m] ) [Metric Units]
    BMI = 703 x Weight[lb] / ( Height[in] x Height[in] ) [English Units]
