Nicole A. Aenchbacher
Breast Health Coordinator (Navigator)
Nicole A. Aenchbacher is the Breast Health Coordinator (Navigator) for Georgia Regents Medical Center. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing from the College of New Jersey School of Nursing in 1998. Upon graduation, Nicole was commissioned as an officer in the US Army Nurse Corp. Her first assignment was to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where she was the charge nurse of a general surgery ward. In 2000, she was reassigned to Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, GA, where she got her first oncology experience. She was placed in the outpatient chemotherapy clinic and received certification as a chemotherapy provider. After working in the clinic for 1 year, she took over the position of case manager for the chemotherapy clinic. After rising to the rank of Captain, she resigned her commission in May 2002.
Nicole came to Georgia Regents Medical Center in April 2007 to continue working in the Radiology department as a Certified Radiology Nurse, before accepting the position of Breast Health Navigator in January, 2008. She continues to maintain her certifications as a Chemo Provider and a Radiology Nurse and currently facilitates the Breast Cancer Support.
