Drug Combo Works on RA

Promptly treating moderate or severe rheumatoid arthritis with a combination of drugs may help prevent work disability in people in the early stages of the condition, according to the American College of Rheumatology. Using two medications -- such as methotrexate and sulfasalazine -- instead of one slowed the progression of joint damage during the first two years, one study found.
