The best choices of cheese for snacking and eating, nutrition experts say, are those that are nonfat, including nonfat cottage cheese and nonfat cream cheese. Check the labels on low-fat cheeses, such as part-skim mozzarella, part-skim ricotta and low-fat cottage cheese. These may still have a significant amount of fat.
