The prognosis for people diagnosed with Hodgkin disease is generally very good, especially if it is found before it has spread. According to Cancer Facts & Figures 2012 from the American Cancer Society, these are the relative survival rates for all patients combined:

  • The one-year survival rate is 92 percent.

  • The five-year survival rate is 84 percent.

  • The 10-year survival rate is 79 percent.
