The center conducts research on many leading-edge projects and played a role in the development of the human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccine to prevent cervical cancer.
The team also cares for women with precancerous diseases of the cervix, vagina and vulva and staffs the region's only nationally certified experts in evaluating women with abnormal pap smear results.
