Dr. C. Anthony Hughes joined the Georgia Regents University Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery as Associate Professor of Pediatric Otolaryngology in January 2010. 

Dr. Hughes earned his medical degree at East Carolina University. He completed clinical and research fellowships in Laryngology and Vestibular Physiology at John Hopkins Hospital and a Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship with Lauren Holinger at the Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Hughes was formerly Chairman of Pediatric Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Nemours Children’s Clinic and Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.  He is a Commander in the United States Naval Reserve and serves as a Flight Surgeon for NASA and the United States Marine Corps.

Dr. Hughes is trained in all aspects of Pediatric Otolaryngology and specializes in congenital airway anomalies and airway reconstruction.
