Dr. Jimmy J. Brown joined the Georgia Regents University Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery as Professor and Chief of Head and Neck Surgery in July 2009. He also accepted an appointment as Chief of Otolaryngology at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.
Dr. Brown, formerly Associate Professor at Stanford University, earned his undergraduate degree at New York University where he was an All-American soccer star. He attended dental school at Howard University, received his medical degree from George Washington University, and completed his residency at King-Drew Medical Center, followed by a Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery fellowship at Stanford University.
Dr. Brown is a Senior Examiner for the American Board of Otolaryngology. His clinical interests include head and neck ablative and reconstructive surgery and advanced orthognathic sleep surgery.
