Dr. Miranda Harris is an assistant professor in the Division of Child, Adolescent and Family Psychiatry. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies at Georgia College and State University. She attended medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Harris completed her General Psychiatric Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Georgia Regents University. During her fellowship she served as Chief Resident for the Child and Adolescent Division. Dr. Harris is originally from Augusta, GA and is pleased to be serving in her hometown. Her clinical interests include treating childhood mood disorders, early onset psychotic disorders and ADHD. She also works in other areas of clinical involvement including residential care at Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta and student health at the university. She enjoys training medical students, residents and fellows. She also serves on the Lifelong Learning Committee for the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
