Protect Your Eyes From the Sun

To protect yourself against harmful rays of the sun, always wear appropriate sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses when out in the sun, according to the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Your sunglasses should block at least 99 percent of ultraviolet rays. The best sunglasses for the middle of the day should be close-fitting goggles or sunglasses that absorb all UV-A and UV-B.
