Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course
PALS courses are being offered by experienced and highly qualified physicians, nurses and allied health staff working in Georgia Health Sciences Children’s Medical Center and caring for critically ill children. The mission of PALS is for the students to understand the pathophysiology, initial assessment and management of sick children.
Students are encouraged to read the course material in detail in order to get the maximum benefit from this course and are required to complete the pre test.
Course Length:
Provider course - 2 days
Renewal course - 1 day
Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certification card valid for two years.
Materials:
Healthcare Provider PALS Student Manual. Fee does not include the cost of the manual.
Fees:
Courses will be free for all the Georgia Health Sciences Medical Center employees.
All courses are open to the public.
