2013 Coaches Clinic

“Failure to prepare is preparing to fail.” ~ John Wooden. Preparation is essential. Preparation isn’t exclusive to your Athletes. As a coach the safety and health of your athletes is your number one responsibility.  This continuing education program is designed and instructed by our Certified Athletic Trainers, Lisa Branon and Bonni Messner, specifically for coaches to prepare athletes for healthy and safe athletic participation.

  • How to develop and implement an Emergency Action Plan
  • How to prevent your athletes from suffering serious injury to the head with Concussion ManagementPLU requirements
  • Ways to protect your team from dangerous Heat Illnesses and Dehydration
  • MRSA - What you can do to minimize the risk of Skin Diseases
  • Wrap it up - Hands-on training using Proper Taping Techniques
