Meet Our Senior Health Physicians
Dr. Reynolds G. Jarvis, director, is an associate professor of medicine and psychiatry at the Georgia Regents Medical Center and is board certified in internal medicine. A 1976 graduate of Medical College of Georgia, he completed residencies in psychiatry and internal medicine and has treated older patients throughout his medical career.
Dr. Dean Harrell is an assistant professor of Family Medicine and Psychiatry at the Georgia Regents Medical Center, attending physician in Geriatric Medicine at the Georgia Regents Medical Center for Senior Health, and medical director of the Geropsychiatry Inpatient Unit. He is board certified in Family Medicine and is board eligible in Psychiatry and Geriatrics. Training includes completion of residencies in Family Medicine and Psychiatry plus a fellowship in Geriatrics. All training occurred at the Georgia Regents Medical Center.
Cynthia McDade, a licensed clinical social worker, provides individual and family counseling; comprehensive psychosocial patient assessments; assistance to patients and families in long-term care planning and placement; and identification of community resources. Mrs. McDade graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and received her master's degree in social work from the University of Maryland.
