Representatives from 104.3 WBBQ and KISS 96.3, along with patients, families and staff of the Georgia Health Sciences Children's Medical Center, celebrate $226,978 in donations made to the children's hospital during the 2012 Cares for Kids Radiothon. The 12th annual Radiothon hosted by WBBQ and KISS is one of the hospital’s largest fundraisers, helping the not-for-profit GHS Children’s Medical Center to provide specialized care for children and families across the Southeast. The 2012 total was $65,000 more than was raised in 2011 and was the highest amount raised during Radiothon since it began in 2000.
