William Lutin, MD
Photography
Medical Center, 2nd Floor
Dr. Bill Lutin is a native of Tennessee, where he spent the first 30 years of his life. He is a photoenthusiast who got his start 45 years ago working in scientific and medical photography in the days of wet chemicals and silver based photo prints. He has always toted a camera with him on his travels with his family, to various professional meetings, fishing trips, and on frequent roundabout excursions dedicated to capturing the joy of our world and rendering it as he sees it onto prints. His favorite subjects are nature scenes, water, foliage, flowers, cityscapes, and wildlife (including pets). Bill believes in the fundamental beauty of the world, the magic of light, and in the power that pictures have to make us feel good. Bill works at Children’s Hospital of Georgia, where he is a pediatric cardiologist. He is married to the best wife in the universe, and has two incredible and creative children, Mike and Mandie. Their help, advice, support and encouragement gave him the strength to do this, his first show. He sincerely hopes these pictures bring you a moment of joy.
The images in this show were taken with Nikon and Canon digital SLR cameras using available light only and hand-held camera position. They were printed by the photographer on acid-free luster finish paper using archival quality pigment based inks, to emulate air dried silver based papers (like the good-old-days).
Other sizes and unframed images are available from the photographer on request (brightideasphoto@gmail.com).
Further information about these pieces may be obtained from the Georgia Regents Medical Center Healing Arts Program in the Volunteer Services Office at 706-721-3596.
