Dr. Ananda Pathiraja completed his doctorate at University of Ceylon. He conducts clinical activities at the Charlie Norwood VAMC-Augusta where he is involved in the supervision and training of psychiatry residents. Dr. Pathiraja completed residency and fellowship in Psychopharmacology at Georgia Health Sciences University and is board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. His academic interests include teaching Psychopharmacology to residents and medical students and his research interest is in the area of Schizophrenia.
