Dr. Brown joined the Medical College of Georgia Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery as Professor and Chief of Head and Neck Surgery in July 2009. He also accepted an appointment as Chief of Otolaryngology at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.
Dr. Brown, formerly Associate Professor at Stanford University, earned his undergraduate degree at New York University where he was an All-American soccer star. He attended dental school at Howard University, received his medical degree from George Washington University, and completed his residency at King-Drew Medical Center, followed by a Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery fellowship at Stanford University in 1996. He has substantial administrative experience including his prior position as Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at King-Drew.
