  • Where do I begin?
To begin the application process, you will need to have an e-mail address and password that you can easily remember. Please write down your username and password for future reference and keep it in a safe, secure place. If you need to check the status of your application(s), use your email address and password to obtain status.

  • Do I have to complete an on-line application?
Yes.  Everyone that applies for a position with Georgia Regents Health System is required to create an application. The more information you provide, the easier it will be to effectively evaluate your experience, skills, abilities, and knowledge.

  • What website do I use to search and apply for jobs at Georgia Regents Health System?
You will be directed to the online Job Search once you have accepted our work rules.

  • What jobs do you have available?
All of our job postings can be found on our online Job Search.
We are actively recruiting for all positions that are listed.

  • How can I fill out an application if I do not have access to a computer?
If you do not have access to a personal computer you may visit a library or use a friend’s, or if you require personal assistance; please see our listing of partner sites below. Our partners are available for assistance with applying to our site.

  • Can I just bring my resume to Georgia Regents Health System?
We use an automated applicant tracking system that allows us to view and process your application and resume quickly and efficiently. This allows your resume to be viewed by the hiring manager in a timely manner. To use our automated applicant tracking system, you may visit one of our partner sites.

  • What information will I be asked to provide as part of my application?
You will be asked to provide personal information including your e-mail address, name, home address, phone number, etc.  You will need information about your current employer, past employer, references, skills, certifications, and education.

  • Can I apply for more than one position at a time?
You may apply for up to ten jobs at one time by adding them to your job cart. Each application/resume should be tailored to the specific position.

  • How will I know my resume has been received?
First time applicants; please be sure to use the “Create a New Account” feature found on the  website. This tool will allow you enter in your personal contact information so that we may contact you by e-mail to let you know your resume has been received.

  • I have already set up an account with Georgia Regents Health System but I cannot access it. Why?
Be sure that you are entering the same e-mail account and password that you originally used to create your account. The system will let you know if you are using an e-mail address that is not in the system by displaying “User account does not exist.”

  • I remember my e-mail account but I do not remember my password.  How can I get my password?
Click on the link labeled “I have forgotten my password” on the Sign-In screen.  The system will prompt you to enter in your e-mail address and a temporary password will be sent to your e-mail account.  You can then use the temporary password to sign in and reset your password.

  • I have already created an application previously, how do I get to it.
Click “sign-in.” Then, enter your e-mail address and password you used when you created your application. Click on “Application Status” to view the status of the positions you have applied to.  You can also view, edit, or upload new resumes and supporting documents (certifications, licensures, etc.) on this page.  Click “Next” and/or “Submit” at the bottom of each page to ensure that your changes are saved.

  • I want to submit a resume and/or cover letter with my application. How can I do that?
You will be able to submit a resume each time you apply for a position with Georgia Regents Health System. Once you have finished creating an account, you will be allowed to copy and paste, attach a resume, cover letter, certificates, and references. Please note that attaching a resume does NOT substitute for completing the online application.

  • Why do I have to compose a new resume for each position that I apply for when my resume is already on file?
Your resume should be specific to the job posting.  If you have typed or cut/pasted your resume into the system, the system will not save the information. If you uploaded your resume from your hard drive or CD, the system will save your entries and you can choose to attach them to any new positions that you are applying for.

  • I feel as if I am qualified for several positions; how do I know if I am actually qualified for a position or not?
Each job posting provides the qualifications needed for that position.
If you click on the position title, it will provide you with a job summary that details the minimum position requirements and the preferred requirements of that position. Be sure to review these qualifications and evaluate/compare them to your skills, experience and knowledge. It is important that you include all of the education, experience, credentials, and skills you possess that pertain to the job posting.

  • I’ve previously placed my application online, but when I try to add a job the system seems to require me to start all over again.  Why?
When you enter your e-mail address and password, the system will ask you to re-verify contents of the application. This means that you will need to re-enter some information.

  • Do I have to complete the application process if I have submitted a resume and application with the Georgia Regents University or the University System of Georgia?
Yes. We are a separate entity from the Georgia Regents University and the University System of Georgia. Because of this we require a separate application process.  Applications and resumes submitted from other entities and websites DO NOT transfer over to the Georgia Regents Health System application site.

  • How long can I stay logged in?
The system will automatically time out after 20 minutes of inactivity.

  • I’ve been trying to submit an application but the system will not let me log in or submit my e-mail address.  What is the problem?
It could be one of two things:
    1) You already have an application submitted. Log in using your e-mail address and password that you used to create your account.  If you cannot remember your password, click the “I have forgotten my password” link at the log in screen and enter in your e-mail address.  You will receive an e-mail with directions on resetting your password.  If you are still unable to log in, please e-mail Georgia Regents Health System at workformcghi@gru.edu or call 706-721-3921.
    2)  If you have not accessed your application for an extended period of time, the system will purge your application in order to make room for new applicants. You will have to create a new account with a new e-mail address and password.  You will then be prompted to complete a new application.

  • What if I don’t want to include my Social Security number on my application?
All information listed on your application is confidential and entered into a secured site. Your social security number is a required field and must be entered to submit an application.

  • What if I do not want to include all of my employment history?
If you are interviewed and given an offer of employment, your salary may be based on your previous employers and/or current related experience. Omitting parts of your employment history may affect your ability of being interviewed, selected, and pay determination.

  • How long will it take to hear back once I apply?
Applicants are reviewed daily by Talent Consultants and Managers.  If you are the final candidate for a position, you will then be contacted by the Talent Consultant.  Again, your application status can be verified by logging into your profile.

  • I applied for several positions but I have not heard anything.  How can I find out the status of my application?
Georgia Regents Health System applicant tracking system provides two ways for you to be immediately notified of your application status.
    1)  If you click on the "My Account" feature in your GRHS profile, you can view the status of the applications pertaining to each job for which you applied.
    2)  Each time your application status changes you should receive an automated e-mail notifying you of your status.

  • Can I go in and update my resume with a change in contact information?
Yes. You can do this by signing into your account with the e-mail address and password used to create your profile with Georgia Regents Health System. Click on “Update Application Information” to make any changes to your contact information.

  • Can I remove my application from consideration for a position?
Yes. Please call Georgia Regents Health System Human Resources office at  706-721-3921.

  • I have left several messages with the Talent Consultant (recruiter) and no one has contacted me about my application status.  Why?
Your application status is always available to you online by entering your e-mail address and password on the Sign-In screen. Consultants make every effort to return calls in a timely manner. The best way to reach a consultant is by calling 706-721-3921.

  • What do the descriptions regarding my application status mean?  For example – “Considering”.

Resume Received: Confirms your resume was received online.

Did Not Pass Screening Questions:  You may have completed an online screening questionnaire requested by the hiring manager. The questions are used to help narrow the pool of applicants. If you did not pass, it means one or more of your responses did not match the hiring manager's preferred answer.

Considering: This description means an initial group of applicants (based on date of submission) has been sent through to the hiring manager. Your application may be considerd at a later date. This means your stated experience; education or credentials met the specified posting details. The Hiring Manager is now reviewing your resume along with other candidates in the qualified pool.

Disqualified, pursuing other candidates: The content of your resume/application was compared to the posted details for education, experience requirements and if specified, credentials. If your information did not match the posted criteria, your application/resume cannot be sent through for consideration by the Hiring Manager.

Not Selected for an Interview: The Hiring Manager has reviewed your qualifications along with other qualified candidates, and has determined to pursue other candidates.

Considered for Interview:  The Hiring Manager indicates an interest in your candidacy, along with other candidates and is considering who will be called for an interview.  If you are considered, the hiring manager will contact you either by phone or e-mail.

Not Selected After Interview: You have been selected and interviewed, however the hiring manager has narrowed down the interviewees and is pursing another candidate at this time.

This Position Has Been Filled: The position is no longer available. Even when you see this status online, you may continue to see the position posted on our Web site. It will be posted until the selected candidate has accepted the offer and arrives as planned.

Pre-Employment:  You have accepted the contingent offer of employment.  We are verifying criminal background, references, prior employment with Georgia Regents Health System or clarifying information with a hiring manager before we can determine if you can be moved through for consideration.
