Applying to Become a Volunteer

All volunteer applicants are required to be 18 years of age.
All volunteer applicants are required to complete the application process as follows:

• Submit application and other forms, listed below:
  
      -  Volunteer Application (online form)
      -  Volunteer Application (printable form)
      -  New employee info (printable form)
      -  Volunteer Agreement
      -  Confidentiality Statement
      -  Background Check
      -  Adult Consent Form 
   
• Attend an orientation
• Attend an interview with the Volunteer Services Manager
• Complete two TB screenings
• Study "Safety  Review Booklet" (link to PDF below)
  Take the "Safety Review Test."  (link to PDF below)
  Print and complete the "Answersheet" (link to PDF below) and return the "Answersheet" to the Volunteer Services Office.

• Attend interview with department manager
• Receive badge and volunteer shirt/vest

To ensure that the application process is completed in a timely fashion, applicants are encouraged to submit all necessary documents and other requirements as quickly as possible.

Upcoming Orientations

All orientations take place at Georgia Regents Medical Center Children's Medical Center,
1st floor, Rooms BT-1809 and BT-1810. Please check with Volunteer Services
at 706-721-3596 for room number on the day of your Orientation.
