With his radiant smile and bright blue eyes, three-year-old Dante Antonacci can tell you about the sunshine in life, though he’s yet to utter his first word.
“He’s a very happy kid,” says mom Mallory, “He loves to kick and bounce in his wheelchair — he’d do that all day long!”
Dante has cerebral palsy, which doctors think he developed as a result of a stroke probably caused by sleep apnea when he was an infant. He became a patient at MCGHealth Children’s Medical Center after his mom and dad, Tim, moved to Augusta when he was six months old.
