Men and Menopause

Menopause isn't just for women. Men have their own form of menopause, often called andropause, but it usually doesn't hit until men are in their 60s or 70s. The gradual decline in androgen hormones, including testosterone, may begin around age 30. The rate at which these hormones decline varies widely from man to man. Researchers have not determined whether it is beneficial to boost testosterone levels that have fallen as part of the normal aging process.
